The College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo offers a non-credit course entitled “ Creating Business and Marketing Video Scripts.” Classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays, February 13 through February 22, from 4:30 – 7 p.m. in UH Hilo’s University Classroom Building Room 103. The cost is $85.
Participants will learn the pre-production process for various video types, from marketing concepts and professional script formatting to working with production companies and shooting their own footage. By the end of the course, students will have one or more scripts ready for production.
Instructor Adam Sydney was creative director at the Strategic Marketing ad agency and helped clients develop successful strategies for 15 years. He has also taught video production and advertising at the college level for more than seven years.
