The College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo hosts a Grantsmanship Training Program from March 21-25 for both novice and advanced grantseekers at public and private nonprofit organizations. Classes are held 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., except on March 25 when it ends at 1 p.m., and is limited to 30 participants.
Participants will gain a hands-on learning experience that covers all aspects of researching grants, writing grant proposals, and negotiating with funding sources. Upon completion, individuals receive a full year of free follow-up services, including professional proposal review and access to comprehensive online databases of foundation, corporate and government funding sources.
Early bird discount is available through February 22 for $895. Thereafter, tuition is $995 and $945 for each additional registration from the same organization. A limited number of partial scholarships are available for qualified agencies.
