The University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) offers courses in Hilo and Kona on managing personal and business online reputations. The cost for each workshop is $35.
Instructor Denise Laitinen conducts “Creating Your Personal and Business Social Media Brand” to show participants how to differentiate between the various types of social media and how to build a personal and/or business brand on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Google+. The session will be held on Friday, October 16, from 9 - 11 a.m., in the Maluhia Building, Conference Room 116, located at 891 Ululani Street in Hilo.
“Reputation Management for Visitor Industry Businesses” teaches participants how to proactively monitor the online reputation of their business/ brand and to take action to counter any potential negative impact. This workshop will be held on Saturday, October 24, from 9 - 11 a.m. at Kealakehe High School, Room F101, at 74-5000 Puohulihuli Street in Kailua-Kona.
