The University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo Center for Community Engagement and The East Hawai‘i Cultural Center (EHCC) Youth Arts Series have partnered to present a Digital Pumpkin Patch and Fall Fundraiser in lieu of their annual Fall Break Camp and Haunted House. Both events launch on Monday, September 28.

Digital photos of entries must be submitted by Friday, October 23. Participants must be 18 years of age or younger. Entries can be real pumpkins, faux pumpkins, or any homemade pumpkin form. Limited supply kits are available by donation only, with free online video tutorials to provide inspiration for pumpkin creations. Guidelines and information for supply kits are posted at https://www.ehcc.org/yaspumpkinpatch.

The Fall Fundraiser features Halloween-themed works that have been created and donated by local crafters and artists, including Kellie Miyazu and RK Woods Hawaiʻi. They will be available for purchase on the EHCC website. All proceeds will go toward the Youth Arts Series to continue to provide arts education to keiki of all ages.

For more information, contact EHCC Youth Arts Series at yas@ehcc.org or the UH Hilo Center for Community Engagement at uhhcce@hawaii.edu.
