The Center for Community Engagement at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo offers Creating Business and Marketing Video Scripts with Adam Sydney. Classes will be held on Fridays, February 7-21, from 9 a.m. – noon in UH Hilo's PB-5 classroom. Cost is $85. Campus parking fees will apply.
Participants will learn to develop a short video script to deliver their message quickly and effectively. They will take the first step in creating a professional product that persuades, inspires and motivates the audience while clearly communicating its vision. Participants should bring a notebook and pen and/or laptop.
Sydney has taught writing, filmmaking, and marketing classes for more than 10 years. He holds two master's degrees in screenwriting and presently works as a judge for the PAGE Screenwriting Awards. He has also published three novels and has worked as a journalist, creative director at an advertising agency, and the head of development at a film production company.
