Celebrate the joy of the holiday season at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo Performing Arts Center with Holiday Card to Hilo: A Season of Lights Sunday, December 15 at 2 p.m. This annual concert has been a tradition with Hilo families for more than a decade.
This year the UH Hilo Kapili Choir and University Chorus are joined by the Hilo Community Chorus, the Orchid Isle Orchestra, the ensemble VOICES, SOUNDS string quartet and quintet and many guest artists to celebrate the traditional lights and sounds of Christmas and Hanukkah. The concert will present new works by Norway's Ola Gjeillo, and from Latvia, Eriks Esenvalds.
Tickets are reserved seating and priced at $20 General, $15 Discount and $7 UH Hilo/HawCC students (with a valid student ID) and children, up to age 17, pre-sale, and $25 General, $20 Discount and $12 UH Hilo/HawCC students (with a valid student ID) and children, up to age 17, at the door.
