The College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo offers codeless website building (WiX.com) workshops utilizing free online software with professional videographer and graphic designer Artin Mardirousi.
WiX.com - Part 1 teaches students how to create a fully operational, customized website to promote their business, program, or project. Topics include animation, sounds and videos, securing a web domain (name), hosting, and more. Classes are on Mondays and Wednesdays, January 22 - 31, from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. Tuition is $125.
WiX.com - Part 2 builds on the topics covered in WiX.com - Part 1. Participants learn how to maximize their web presence and marketing impact by optimizing the design, with an emphasis on website composition, effective elements (pictures, video, etc.), and marketing best practices. Students are also taught how to utilize the latest business and marketing website designs incorporating forms, animation, and multimedia elements. Classes are on Mondays and Wednesdays, February 5- 14, from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. Tuition is $125.
A discount package for both workshops costs $225. All classes are held in PB-7.
