The University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) offers an intermediate skills workshop on Microsoft Office 2013 Suite. Classes will be held September 18-22, from 5 – 8 p.m. in UH Hilo’s UCB Room 105. Tuition is $275 and includes the textbook.
The course is designed for individuals with a basic understanding of Microsoft Office. Claire Akau, a seasoned instructor with the UH Hilo College of Business and Economics, will show students how to utilize advanced workflows, techniques, and tools in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Topics of instruction will include advance formatting, PDF creation, creating templates, and linking web pages. Certificates will be awarded following successful completion of the program. The ability to operate a computer, basic Microsoft Office experience, and a USB flash drive are required.
