The College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo is accepting registration for a workshop on creating videos using a digital single lens reflex (DSLR) or mirrorless camera. Sessions will be held on Fridays, July 22 and 29, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in UH Hilo’s UCB 125 (ITS Mac Lab). Tuition is $75.
Professional videographer and graphic designer Artin Mardirousi will teach participants how to harness the video capabilities of their DSLR or mirrorless camera. Participants will learn the essentials of DSLR videography as they capture and import footage, edit their footage with video editing software, and export their completed project as a short video. Basic computer skills and a DSLR or mirrorless camera are required.
