The College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo offers “Self-Managing Pain with Trigger Point Therapy” on Saturday, February 20, from 9 a.m. – noon, in UH Hilo’s Kanaka`ole Hall, Room126. Cost is $75 for one person or $125 for two people sharing supplies. Workbook and massage ball are included in the cost, but registration is required by February 5 to ensure materials will be available at the session.
The workshop is for people of all ages who experience some level of pain or discomfort, especially athletes or those with chronic pain. Hau‘oli Sayles, a competitive athlete and a coach, will teach this practical, step-by-step DIY approach to pain therapy.
