The College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo offers a workshop on “Edible Landscaping” on Saturday, November 14, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at UH Hilo’s College of Agriculture Building, Room 102. Cost is $55.
Instructor Zach Mermel will guide participants in transforming their land into an abundant oasis of edible and multifunctional plants. Mermel will cover the basic Dos and Don’ts of edible landscaping. Participants will gain hands-on experience by creating a basic landscape plan of their own. An aerial photo or TMK map of the land and colored pens/pencils are required.
