The College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo hosts a two-day introductory workshop on Apple iMovie on Friday and Tuesday, October 2 & 6, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the ITS Mac Lab located in UH Hilo’s UCB Room 125. The cost is $65.
Apple iMovie provides a quick way to create high quality videos. Participants will learn how to edit videos from their digital camera or phone by clipping, cropping, splitting, captioning and authoring their video. Instructor Evan Clark will demonstrate how to give those videos a polished and professional look using professional grade templates, soundtracks, fades and effects. He will also show how to burn the videos to DVDs or upload to YouTube, Facebook or Vimeo. The ability to operate a computer is required and a USB flash drive 4GB or larger is recommended.
