The University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo International Student Association presents International Nights 2015 on Friday, February 6 and Saturday, February 7, at 7:30 pm in the UH Hilo Performing Arts Center. This annual event features performances from around the world and is a favorite among students, the community, and visitors.
This year’s shows feature a unique first-ever performance from Burma, taiko drumming from Japan, and American contemporary hip hop. Other performances will showcase the cultures of Samoa, the Philippines, Micronesia, Timor-Leste, Ireland, Tahiti, Kiribati, Solomon Islands, Palau, Japan, Papua New Guinea, and the Marshall Islands.
Tickets are $12 for General Admission and $5 for Students, Children, and Senior Citizens. Tickets may be purchased at the UH Hilo Box Office from 9 am – 1 pm, Tuesday through Friday, or at the door if tickets are still available the night of the shows.
